A new parking lot payment accounting and control system starts operating
As of the beginning of 2025, a new parking lot payment accounting and control system is in place in Riga. It offers customers various convenient payment options, making payment for parking services safe and simple. The new system also allows the company to flexibly manage paid parking lots in Riga and enables data exchange with other state and municipality information systems.
One of the new features is that proof of payment for parking can be obtained in the form of an electronic receipt. This can be done by scanning the QR code, by e-mail or on Rīgas satiksme website. Payment for any zone can be made at any payment machine. In addition, to improve the customer experience, the new system also allows users to make corrections during the payment process, for example if the wrong car number or payment details have been entered.
An interactive map is available on Rīgas satiksme website, where you can find out where the payment machines with the new system are located. If a machine is not working, please contact our customer call centre at 20361862 or 8585 to report the problem.
Until the full transition to the new system is completed at all payment machines, please be understanding and, if necessary, use alternative payment options such as the Mobilly app or SMS.
